I led havdallah during the Hadassah regional conference here in Raleigh, May 29-31, 2026. It was a lovely ending to a Shabbaton filled with friendship, learning and connection.
I will join an interfaith choir and perform my setting of “Bayom Ha-hu” during the Wake Interfaith Immigration Network event on June 7, 2026. As the granddaughter of immigrants who escaped Europe prior to WWII, this is such an important issue for me, and for all of us. Here is a poem I’ve written for the occasion:
The way to peace
Is to embrace
That we are all
One human race.
No matter the skin
Or voice or face
I pray that peace
Will fill this place.

Short Stuff
Short Stuff and Other Children’s Songs is a children’s CD that is filled with songs that I sang for my children when they were young.
This album has been distributed to libraries around the USA and has won a Parent’s Choice Award in the “recommended” category. Songs include a remix of Shabbat Shalom (the Nap Song) and a round of Frere Jacques and Row Your Boat, as well as the original Tilly Go Round, written for my first grandchild.
Enjoy the music!
